CLASS LKG TO X

  1. A child must attain the age of 4 (four years) to get admission in LKG (class A)
  2. A Photostat copy of Birth Certificate must be submitted at the time of admission for LKG (class A)
  3. Students coming from other schools must produce Transfer Certificate, Cumulative Record and Progress Report from the previous school.
  4. An entrance test, if necessary will be conducted in at least two major subjects (Maths & English) to ascertain the standard of the student(s) seeking admission in Class I and above.
  5. Prospectus and Admission form has to be obtained from the office for all new admissions.

CLASS XI & XII

  1. A candidate seeking admission in class XI will have to appear for entrance test if deemed necessary. Direct admission will be offered to the candidates with 1stand 2nd division in HSLC examination.
  2. A candidate seeking admission in Commerce stream should have secured at least 50% in Mathematics in HSLC examination.
  3. Prospectus and Admission form has to be obtained from the office for all new admissions.
  4. Application for admission on prescribed form will be accepted immediately after the announcement of the HSLC examination results of the Nagaland Board of School Education.
  5. Each application must be accompanied by:
  6. An attested copy of Class X mark sheet.
  7. A recent passport-size photograph of the student.
  8. A testimonial/Character certificate from the principal/ Headmaster of the school last attended.
  9. The Transfer Certificate/ Cumulative Record book of the student.
  10. Migration Certificate. (The original Migration Certificate of those students coming from school boards other than NBSE to be handed over to the office not later than one month from the date of admission).

Arts Stream

  • Compulsory subject: English
  • Elective subjects : History, Political Science, Education & Alternative English
  • Optional subjects : Sociology or Economics

Commerce Stream

  • Compulsory Subject: English, Economics, Accountancy & Business Studies
  • Elective subject : Alternative English & Entrepreneurship

Subjects for Internal Assessment: Compulsory for both Arts & Commerce stream

  • Physical and Health Education
  • Vocational Subject

ADMISSION CHARGES & FEES

One time Registration Fee (For new students only) : 

CLASS LKG – X   = Rs. 500/-

CLASS XI – XII     = Rs. 800/-

Computer Fee : 

CLASS III – X       = Rs. 200/- (to be paid in the months of January, May & September)

Examination Fee :

CLASS I – VIII      = Rs. 150/- (to be paid in the months of May, August & November)

CLASS IX – XII     = Rs. 250/- (to be paid in the months of June & October)

WITHDRAWAL:

  1. An application, duly signed by the guardian or parent, has to be submitted to the Principal for approval before withdrawing a student from the school.
  2. Transfer certificate is issued within three days of submission of application with payment of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred only) and with clearance of all dues of the school.
  3. Students who fail for two years in succession will not be retained in the school.
  4. Students who withdraw from the school before or after the month of time are required to pay the school fees up to time or December respectively.
  5. Parents and guardians may be asked to withdraw their children in the event of very low academic standard or misconduct in the school.

 

FEE CONCESSION:

  • Monthly tuition fee for the fourth child will be free if in case 4(four) children from the same family are studying in the school.
  • 100% concession in the admission fee for the children of the staff of Cornerstone Higher Secondary School.
  • 1% of the total enrollment will be made as, “Free Admission & Tuition Fees” and will be distributed to different categories as follows (Categories to be reviewed every year).
  1. Orphans
  2. Children of parents who died of HIV/AIDS.
  3. Differently abled children (children needing special attention).
